Actor and singer Hamzah Tariq Jamil, who rose to fame with Pepsi Battle of the Bands, has paired up with Mashal Khan for See Prime’s Bridge short film.

See Prime, the digital entertainment platform recently launched by SEEME Productions, has released the new short film on its YouTube channel.

Bridge tells the unique story of a girl and a boy who run into each other in the most unusual of circumstances.

Mashal Khan stars as the girl who is standing on the edge of the bridge, about to jump off when Hamzah Tariq Jamil, a total stranger, approaches her and talks to her.

Bridge short film is a tragicomedy – an enticing narration of how life might throw you a curveball any moment, and to be prepared to face the unexpected.

Short film Bridge is written by Mansoor Saeed and directed by Murtaza Chaudhry. Chaudhry has also directed Tariq Jamil’s 2019 musical series Meray Dost Meray Yaar.

Hamzah Tariq Jamil

The aspiring young actor and singer, Hamzah Tariq Jamil is the lead vocalist of the band “Neon” who rose to fame with Pepsi Battle of the Bands.

The budding actor stepped into the world of acting and has managed to carve a niche for himself in the entertainment industry starring in multiple short films and performing theatre.

Mashal Khan

Mashal Khan is a Pakistani television actress and model who made her television debut in the 2018 sitcom series, Suno Chanda. She gained popularity by playing the role of Kinza in the serial which proved to be the breakthrough for her.

In 2019, Mashal Khan appeared in Suno Chanda 2, a sequel to Suno Chanda, and reprise her role of Kinza. She further appeared as an antagonist in Mere Humdam and as Sonia in Khaas. She also appeared as a host in the travel guide show Amazing Nordics at Hum TV.

Earlier, See Prime released a short film Champa Chambeli narrating an enticing tale of finding friendship across Pakistan and India border that goes beyond politics and fights. The short film was released to mark the 73rd Independence Day for Pakistan and India in 2020.

Champa Chambeli is a light-hearted take on going against the animosity between the two states – following the story of two hopeless romantics from across the borders, who in search of love end up crossing paths virtually. As they form a new friendship, the duo embarks on an online mission to rekindle the dying friendship between the two nations through YouTube.
